This guide will teach you how to configure External Auth Integration Settings. Once integrated, you can utilize Single Sign On capabilities from Google, Facebook, Yahoo, or Apple.

Sweed comes with preset default roles. Users with the proper permissions to perform this function include: Store Manager & Super Admin

Custom roles looking to add the ability to Integrate with Weedmaps will need the following Access Group added to the desired role: Store Settings / Integrations: View & Edit.

To enable social sign in, go to Settings > Integrations > External Auth Tab.


โ€‹External Auth or SSO is available for Google, Facebook, Yahoo, and Apple.


Google requires:

Web Client Id

iOS Client Id

Here is an example of how this will look in your Google Portal:


Facebook requires:


Web Client Id
Web Client Secret
iOS Client Id
iOS Client Secret.

Yahoo requires:


Web Client Id
iOS Client Id

Users will need to create an app in their Yahoo profile, add two redirect urls for log in and sign up (screenshot below is an example from a test environment) and add the respective settings in Portal. Learn more about creating an app in your Yahoo Developer Account.


Apple requires:


Web Client Id
iOS Client Id

Learn more about generating your Client IDs from your Apple Developer Account (Dashboard > Certs, Identifiers, and Profiles > Identifiers).
